Marvin Campbell

Marvin Campbell is a doctoral candidate in the department of English at the University of Virginia. He currently works on 20th century American poetry, African-American poetry and prose, and global modernism. His dissertation reframes modernist and contemporary American poetics through the lens of Key West. Despite his 20th century orientation, he has led sections of Shakespeare survey courses on the tragedies and romances and, in doing so, has become increasingly interested in the afterlives of Shakespeare visible in contemporary melodrama. Marvin will be editing Henry IV, Part I.
